ABOUT the Fellowship
The EPLC exists to share experiences, learn from others, build community, have fun and teach our children acceptance for different spiritual paths. EPLC offers pagans a safe place to start or continue their spiritual journey with a group of accepting and like minded individuals.
Each month members cast an interactive circle, with a presentation on a topic chosen by the groupeach september. Children are given coloring sheets, actvities or crafts with a pagan theme, often the adults enjoy the monthly activities as well.
EPLC is proud to host meetings at the Pride Centre of Edmonton, the 3rd Saturday of each month as a way to foster acceptance in all people regardless of culture, race, religion or sexuality.
Everyone is asked to please bring a snack to share during social and clean uptime; please bring enough for at least 15 people.
EPLC’s vision is to further the spiritual growth in pagans by offering to the community a peer to peer atmosphere where everyone can share knowledge or ask questions in a positive and family friendly environment. Our goal is to assist in spiritual growth without imposing monetary or long term time commitments on attendees. The EPLC envisions a community where individuals work towards the greater goal of creating a positive healthy enviroment for families to openly practice religious spirituality without discrimination or fear of reprocussions, regardless of any social restraints or prejudices.
EPLC is focused on fostering an enviroment where pagan children can openly ask questions about any religion, and that others adults and child alike, will learn from the discussions those questions bring. The EPLC Fellowship prides itself on non-denominational spiritual practices that enable attendees to explore, and challenge beliefs without causing harm to anyone in their learning.
EPLC members are individuals of varying pagan experiences; ranging in training and traditions whom following diverse range of paths within the umbrella of the pagan belief system. Membership of the EPLC is voluntary. We ask that indiviuals associating with EPLC Fellowship do so in a manner that is conducive to a personal commitment to learning about paganism and volunteering in the community help to create a vibrant, fun family friendly atmosphere where EPLC Fellowship helps to with participatory events for the general public throughout the year.
EPLC also believes in supporting a community setting without compromising personal beliefs or limiting access to knowledge because of financial commintments, therefore, the EPLC is a fellowship and is committed to treating everyone with respect and open mindedness while giving unconditional tolerance of others and their chosen paths even when the path is different from personal beliefs or choices, regardless of social status.
